they are made by kaixen.. if youre interested PM me.. its basically plug and play, and i fabricated H7 bulb adaptors that e39s need.. so its really really easy

**im running 6.5k for the headlights, and 6k for the fogs** - im doing a write up w/ pics for the HID foglight install and ballast placements.

Gratz. Looks good. Do you find the fogs to be overpowering with HIDs? With out projector lenses for the fogs do you think they bloom/bleed too much?

no codes .. and the fogs fill in the bottom part of the headlight beams.. and it spreads the light out at a wider angle for better visibility. its freakin awesome! =) its like im not blind at night anymore

these are true pictures.. i took them last night w/ my sony digital 8mp cameral.. no alterations to the pic..just resized them.

theyre white if you stare at them head on (not recommended).. and its blue-ish otherwise..w/ a hint of yellow.

you just installed the HID kit in your stock halogen angel eye lights? how's the beam pattern on those? i've always wondered about the difference between:

non-angel eye (pre-'01) hid headlights
non-angel eye hallogens with hid kit
angel eye hid headlights
angel eye halogens with hid kit

so if i can get my angel eyes installed maybe i'll just upgrade the capsules to a higher temp....

Looks sick man, do you get any complaints from on-coming drivers with them flashing their high beams at you? I was thinking about doing this mod in my touring but just noticed that your fogs are different from mine.

Mine is actually and H7 bulb but I was saying that my housing is a bit different then yours.

im doing a write up this week on where to install the ballast for the fog HIDs.. (ill post later)..

but basically.. i took off the front bumper.. on the pass side i hid it under the intake (not in the engine bay).. and for the drivers side, its below the drivers side headlight (in the engine bay).. which is where i put the headlight ballast as well..

ill post pictures w/ the write up so you get a better understanding.. did you already order HIDs?

Cool ... Definately .... I was thinking about getting ebay halo's but i think they will look cheap .What do yo think ? ... i already did the hid conversion the first day i got it and just yesterday i got the 02 tail's in so ...

The HID fogs are great! nice mod!

i dont have any experience w/ the ebay halos.. so i couldnt tell you. Im sure youre car will look a lot cleaner and up to date once you get install those tails.
