I sold my supercharged 540i to a guy in SC this summer. I had an E46 coupe for a while and just sold it. It was not the car I expected it to be.
I missed out on a low milage E39 540i and I am thinking about buying my 540 back. The guy will sell it. I just want to know if it is still worth the money. I sold it for just over $15k with 118k. Its now about 121k and he has added a few small things. He wants what he has in it over what I sold it for. Is it worth it? It is an original block and it seems the the price of the regular 540's have dropped a lot since I was last in the market. Any thoughts are appreciated.
I miss the power and the way the trans shifted. It was prefect. Except for MPG and parts prices.
