Hey guys, I am in the process of a new business venture.

My new company Hero Gear LLC will serve the needs of local fire, LE, EMS, SAR, and military unit.

We will offer a full line of tactical and professional gear.
Our goal is to also expand our sales volume by doing 50% of our sales on the web.
I need some help and advice in setting up my website. It will need to offer 1000+ items, have secure checkout, etc.
Any web gurus around mid-tn area?

I would prefer that I have the ablilty to sit down with the designer/webmaster to discuss the needs and look of the site.
I would also like to be able to meet with the webmaster on occasion to discuss any issues that would arise.

Since we wont be hosting this ourselves, I guess we could really meet anywhere that has broadband.

i've done web designs in the past, we may can cook something up. ask me about it at the meet saturday. computers were my passion before i got a bmw.

i was giving it some thought, and i dont really know if i could make a very secure site, but i can definetly help out with graphics and making it look pretty. After we talked today i thought about the fact that your site would be handling credit cards and the such.. I've never messed with 128-bit encryption and i'm sure its fairly difficult. I will definetly try and find someone who can help you though. I am fairly good with Photoshop so graphics i can help on :-P ....long story short i am willing to help the best i can.


as far as the post before this, dont ask why i put all that crap on there i guess i was in a good mood or something.
