This thing is freakin sweet!! It looks so cool, and I can't believe how much better it made my system sound. It sounds like I upgraded my speakers and amp!! Its much cleaner and clearer sounding when compared to the C33 deck that came stock in my car. Anyway, I'm really excited about the new deck and I just had to share. Does anybody have a manual for a CD43 that they could scan and send to me? I know that there is a trick on these head units where you hold down the m button and you can access a hidden menu. I did this earlier today, but I don't know what adjustments can be made. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks. I'll try and post some pics of the deck tomorrow.

Hi Jef! What a coincidence, I received yesterday and installed my new CD43 as well. I agree with you, it is awsome compared to the C33;even the RDS feature works great!!! In my case, I also did a full HK system upgrade as well, which I finished last weekend. So, I experience first the awsome difference between the stock (nokia) speaker and amp setup versus the HK setup (people said it is not that great, but I sincerely disagree, it is a worthwile improvement) and then the sound improves even more with the new CD43 unit.

As for the manual, I don't have it neither and would love to the a copy too. I can tell you that the GAL feature, which goes from 1 to 6, increases the speed sensitive stereo volume, being 6 the highest value. On the other menu features, I don't know their meaning yet.

I'm curious, how much did you pay for your CD43? I was able to get a real good deal and bought my unit, like new condition, for $190 with shipping. I will post pictures soon as well.
