BEAUTIFUL!!! If I could get/think of a design to keep my sub in a snail shell box AND be stealth, I'd do that in a heartbeat!!!

I had a friend do the work that owns a Stereo shop honestly for what he charged me it would not of been worth my time to do it. It sounds GREAT to not real boomy just enough bass maybe a little to much at times. The nice thing about the enclosure is it is pressure fit in. There is not a single screw holding it in and I have already had the car sideways with it in there......oops. I was gonna do a spare tire sub but then when I go on a trip either to a show or just to go somewhere I would have no where to put the tire other than the back seat.
Thanks for all the compliments,
D

It is not Gel Coat it is painted. It is actually gonna be painted again as some on the metalic floated and he is not completely happy with it. Due to me rushing him so I could have it in time for a show last weekend.

Its really nice, I want to find someone who can build me that. It looks like a 12 right? What is the weight of the box with the sub in there?

Damien
12-13-2005, 06:03 PM
No it is actually a ten I do not know the weight of it off the top of my head. If interested I am sure he could mold another one and ship it you.

very nice looking. I was going to do something like that to mine. I have my amp flush mounted on the other side of the trunk. My question is though how hard is it to access the batery? It shouldn't be to big of a problem i guess if it is pressure fitted, but that was my main concern about placing a sub over on that side. Also could you take some pictures of it on all sides? i am curious what it looks like from the sides and back. Thanks, and again very nice.

What do you mean? With the enclosure in the car or removed from the car? Here is the other side of my trunk.

sorry about that, yes with the enclosure out of the trunk. I want to see what the back and sides look like, so i may have an idea of how to make one for myself. Also very nice other side of the trunk.

That is so sweet. Why doesn't someone mass produce them. I'd pay $$$ for that. Even if it was just black or carpeted.

I am sure he would be able to make it. We are going to use my car as a mold if you will. If you are serious about this he can be reached at 757 301-2360 ask for Mike. He will help you from there I talked him last night about it so he should be aware of what is going on.
Thanks,

That is fantastic, what sort of volume are you getting in that enclosure?

good question based on the sub which looks roughly like a D3 which has about 5.6 inches of mounting depth, thats gotta be a small enclosure, not that you need a big enclosure

Damien

To be honest I do not remember I have a Diamond 600.1 amp on it I believe. It sounds great I love it. Very musical it is a D3 sub I wanna say the box is approximately 1 cubic foot from what I remember sorry I did not pay that mush attention to it.
