I want to replace the stock Radio /w DSP with the alpine 9855 in a 2001 525i. Connected using harness/ant kit but the Alpine just can't power on the stock amp so no sound to the speakers. What's wrong ? can't this HU work with the stock Amp/speakers or I have to replace the amp too ?

it shouls work make sure you have the power antenna and amp connected.
