I found a dual 10" sub box on ebay, thinking about throwing it in my M3, the price seems pretty good.

I cannot post url's here but if you search on Ebay type in 'BMW sub enclosure' it brings it up.

Doing 2 JL W3's and the airspace seems about right, I just wanted some opinions.

That box is actually a replica version of the BSW enclosure. The price is indeed good and it's just a basic sealed box. Should sound fine with your W3s.

Sad to know he's getting rich off someone else's design.

I don't think that BSW is the first to design a downward firing sub box;)

They don't have a dual 10" and thats what I need.

I bought that box 2 weeks ago and I LOVE IT!!! Sounds great with two JL's in it. Very tight. I am just trying to figure out how to make it quickly removeable.

Yeah I was thinking about getting it too, but I contacted the guy who sells them and he said honestly that the box wouldn't suit my subs: weight and mounting depth of subs I wanted to use is too much for that box. I wanted to get the Alpine SWR-1022D 10” Subs - but after several e-mails and no money I guess I will have to listen to the crappy stock NOKIA speakers for a while :stickoutt

I have the BSW dual sub box and I am running 10W1v2's. The set-up sounds great, its enough bass for me. (btw, I do have to leave my rear seats down)

Not to hack this thread or tell you what to do, but why not buy the BSW box and support a vendor on this forum. The ebay seller, definately copied the BSW box.

I agree with supporting BF.com vendors, but they were too rich for my blood....and these boxes have been made for years. BSW did not corner the market with their box....I am sure that it is a VERY high quality box, but it is way to expensive for me at this time.

I hear ya, the BWS box is not cheap.

I think I know the shop that is making those boxes. I'm not sure if the installer or the sop who is making those boxes. But whoever is making those boxes (installer or the shop) installations are clean and I have seen some of their custom work as well. Either way you should expect a good quality item

Btw, that's my car's setup in the ebay auction item, but I am using the BSW enclosure.
