I can't believe how much trouble I'm having finding this, I need a 2 channel crossover that will let me bandpass the channels. I need the low pass to go up to at least 300hz. Thanks.

Audio Control Crossovers have a "PFM" filter which is really a subsonic. you can have a bandpass and a highpass. You will need to get th little resistor modules or make some with cheap parts from RadShack and the instructions in the box.it's just 6 resistors on a socket.

If that's not enough, you really need a three way or more.

Crossovers are hard to find nowadays.

can someone explain the whole high/low pass thing?

Yes.

One thing that scares me about audiocontrol is that you have to build some sort of chip (?) per every crossover setting.

And Dom, just get the XM6, if not the CDT Hd-300.

So it comes with the instructions to make the resistor? If so I may go with this then.

Only one question left, how do I tell what I'm setting it at, the knob isn't marked. I think I remember reading there's a special way but I forgot how.

You solder 6 resistors onto a socket. It's pretty easy if you can solder at all. I suck at soldering but I can do this...

I think I'll actually be ok, I discovered the deck has a built in crossover so I'l be able to high pass it from there, I was under the assumption it did not. I still need to get it for the lowpass though. Thanks.
