i just installed my new set of front 5.25 speakers with a 4 channel amp bridged to just two speakers...for now. installed all my other stuff and this is the problem....

first off i put the speaker wires down the middle console and i can hear the whine, and so i'll be switching them to the sides to help hopefully eliminate it. when we check to make sure it all was working (DID NOT turn the car on) everything worked great and no problems. But when we went for a drive to get some beer the right front speaker seems to play softer than the other side, and occasionally it will play the correct volume, but then go back to playing softly.

i dont know if its cuz i ran the speaker wires down the middle or if it has to do with a bad connect, or maybe with the high/low pass adjusters on the amp that i messed around with.

plz help audio experts.

I'd probably help if I didn't find your sig so offensive.

if you lis what your gear is (HU, amp, and do you have components up front w/crossover boxes?) it would help though.

kenwood HU. 5.25 cliff-design coaxials. 600 watt 4 channel vibe amp in bridged mode.

i left out the sub amp and the subs bc they are working fine. What is confusing me is all the controls on the speaker amp. There is a switch that says [full/high/low pass] and then there are two adjusters next to that for the high and low pass to change the frequency, now there are two sets of those as well. im thinking maybe i should just keep bot set at full instead of messing around with high/low pass yet.
