Heard alot of people saying they got scewed on their finnancial aid and they had to take out mad amount of student loans to pay tuition.

I'm a pilot....I got my training from a private instructor..I have NEVER heard anything good about spartan..everyone that went there has very negative things to say..they give preferencial treatment to their foreign students..plus its EXTREMLY expensive. I would suggest looking into OSU or TCC...TCC has a good program...

I went there back in 92-94. The associate program at the time was supposedly 27k. I ran out of money before even getting my commercial.

A buddy of mine that I work with just finished there a few months ago. I think the only thing he lacked was his multi instructor rating.

Not only can he not get a good job, but he owes north of 60k back in loans. :help

My loans were paid back in 99. I can't tell you how happy I am to have that weight off of my shoulders.

I was looking at the avionics repair(electrical)course.I already have my A&P and private pilots license.So basically I'm asking about the technical courses,not the flight program.BTW,is there another school in the area that has these courses that eanyone knows of?

have you checked out OSU...or even Tulsa Tech at the riverside campus (much cheaper then spartan). Where do you fly out of in Tulsa? I have not flown in 2 months..gonna try to get up this week sometime..

I live on the Ark/Ok border so I don't fly out of Tulsa but I've been wanting to take a trip over there.The only thing holding me back is that I hate controlled airspace because I don't like using the radio:(.Another thing is that I can't afford to fly now because I bought my M3:bawl.But I'm up for a 100$ burger eanytime.
