I've got an E30 and have built door pods to house 6.5" seperates (DEI) out of fiber wood and I'm trying to find out if anyone has had luck covering them so they might look stock.

The pods replace the big, hard plastic, bin-type pockets that come stock from the factory. So I need for it to match the hard plastic handles and armrests, which have that texture to them.

I need help! Working on a super nice install, but need to get these intergrated. Somebody - guidence!

Check out an upholstery shop. They have naugahide, leather and maybe some other stuff. I'm not familiar with the E30 interior. But if it's like other BMWs, I think you can find a covering that will look good.

Thanks I'll have to ask around for a good shop. Since I've always done all my own work, I never think of the professional route.
