IF I can exit 5-10 mph faster -- wouldn't your straight away speed be even faster than someone early apexing a corner? Isn't that book assuming a car has a lot of power? I mean, I would think a miata that carries more speed out of the corner would be faster at the end of a straight than a miata that has a slower exit speed from the corner. This almost seems completely contrary to what I've been taught. The key words of all of this is speed secret #20: The most important corner is the one leading to a straight away. Later apexes are for those type corners.
