there are soooo many to choose from. i had a clifford on my //m3 but i've heard of some people having some electrical trouble after the install. i think you should check out some of the viper series. they aren't too expensive and handle your criteria. i've only had clifford's and viper's alarms on my cars so that's all i can chip in with.

viper isn't to bad, UNGO, clifford, code

there are tons of them- I have had a viper in the past and it worked well- ungo is a good company too or atleast they were in the past

good luck

More important is the installer, me thinks. I was having some occassional electrical problems (minor annoyances) and the mechanic looked at the alarm as a possible culprit. Nice Clifford, installed by chimpanzes apparently. It turned out not to be the culprit but after seeing it I am glad I had it pulled. I am planning on getting the factory alarm, wired by a BMW mechanic.

yes, i agree installation is everything, my buddy, who will be the installer, wiring is his specialty he did it for the GM/toyota/nissan dealer here in town for a few years, i know its not bmw, thats his specialty, but he knows what he's doing

thanks

I have Clifford and been very happy with it.

I have way too many options to list....
