I'm fairly new to forums. What does it mean when your thread is towed? Who towed it and why?:confused

It means it was moved to a different section. The moderators move them. They either move the thread because it was in the wrong section (and was moved/towed to the correct section) or because it got their panties in a bunch (and was moved to a section only they can see).
