I saw these hot looking carbonfiber kidney grills and side grills. The kidneys just snap into place. Does anyone know whats involved with installing the side grills? Thanks for any help

They snap into place too... The only problem is taking them off without damaging your paint... What I recommend is placing, say, a credit card or something REALLY thin yet durable to withstand the pressure.. You have to pry it out from either side... The gills on both sides have a pointed tip that will dig into your paint and possibly chip it upon removal.. Personally, juss take off your factory gills and paint them FLAT black... Don't waste like $200 on some gills that really won't make your car faster or handle better (i.e. SWAY BARS)... Get the carbon grills if you'd like.. They are worth the 70 or so dollars.... Check out how it would look... Juss my two cents

did you paint those yourself? I forgot what site i saw the grills on but the kidneys were $100, and the side were $350 for the pair. They look hot and i have the pheonix yellow M3 and the carbonfiber ones would look great, but i dont know if im ready to dish out that much $$. Then again christmas is coming lol.

Yup... I painted them myself.... Flat Black Bumper Spray from any auto store.... $3.50 can of paint vs. $200 side gills???? Hmmm... Thats a tough decision...

yeah u got a point. I'm just hoping i can talk someone into betting them for me for christmas. Well since i garaged the car for the winter i got till april to think about it. Thanks for the advice EMPWRD.
