Hello everybody, I'm ordering headers for my M3 from Eissenhaus, actually I'm ordering also section I and II (no CATS) and underdrive pulleys. They are giving me a good deal. Originally I was going to order the euro Header but they proposed original CSL Headers as a better option.:confused
I already have the Titanniun Meistershaft exhaust so this way I'm completing a good set up. But I want some opinions regarding what header can be best, also I'm shopping for CAI (AFE, K&N ?):confused and new ECU Software (this I'm thinking on AA, since I'm in Miami Area) Please I need advise on this too.:help

I'd stick with the euro headers. we know they work, we can get them

software. well if you're in miami, I'm sure AA can hook you up with some custom software

CAI-we don't see too much power with these. We're running the ground control gizmo and K&N drop in filter

we can get you all the parts so keep me posted

hope that helps

A much better choice is the STREAMLINE ENGINEERING drop-in filter. This filter was engineered specifically for our S54 engines and provides 99% efficiency (similar to OEM) all while considerably reducing restriction, which means a smoother breathing engine throughout the RPM range and better throttle response. You might even get a few ponies (3-6). Check out the pictures and you will see the Streamline has the deepest pleats and almost NO urethane bleed with build quality that is second to none. The K&N has a ton of urethane bleed and pleats almost half as deep as the Streamline. Also, the Streamline has a much better sealing surface with the air box for no leakage which is a common source of dirt infiltration with others. It is an Engineered filter vs. one-size-fits all. So far eveyone with this filter is loving it and I believe it is changing the way people will view drop-ins filters. Streamline Engineering actually flow tests each OEM airbox before they put out an application specific design whereas the competition just takes a measurement of the airbox and builds a universal filter to fit. Anyways, check this out:

Sorry for being so enthusiasitic about a great product that does not get much air time. Peace.

Aren't the CSL headers supposed to be lighter than the orginal Euro header? Does anyone know the weight difference or what BMW did to the design to acheive this?

The CSL headers have been proven to flow much better then the Euro headers; so much so that the CSL headers are now standard equipment on all Euro BMWs.
