I would like some advice on the future purchase of an 8 series 840/850.

I know that the 740's had engine problems in the early 90's, was that a problem for the 8's too? What sort of problems might I expect? What maintenance issues do you face regularly or periodically?

I look forward to any advice you can give me on what to watch for!
