Rob,
So far it's looking like the same one. Look forward to the email. Thanks.

Dean,
If you see this, give me a call. Your number was not listed on my phone. Thanks a lot.

Dean,
I just got some new info on the car. Don't bother to head over there unless you want to. I am going to pass on it. Thanks again, seriously.

Glad you passed it up. That things got PROBLEMS. There is an extensive discussion regarding that car circling around our local club. The concensus is its worth ~8 grand. No more.

I've been seeing these E30's parked near 79th and Metcalf at a small office building next to a mexican resteraunt. Think I mighta seen that one before there.

Dean,
Thanks again. Even though it wasn't the right car this time, I really appreciate the help. Let me know if you ever need here in Denver. Thanks.

Ha! No worries. I'll give you the keys to the car and tell you where it's kept but I'll leave it up to you to figure out the 10 digit door code, the 5 digit security system code and (I almost forgot) where I keep the keys to the 4 padlocks that lock the garage doors. It shares a garage with some other people's pretty crazy stuff that incidentally makes my car look like chopped liver or giblets, hence the security.

In all seriousness, let me know when you're in town and, provided the weather cooperates, we can head to the mountains for some fun in it.

Funny. I'll keep it in mind. We have Colorado on our family vacation list for next summer.

I am not allowed to post URL's on here (not enough posts, I guess) but if you go to the E30 M3 section and look for a thread titled "I need an Honest Opinion" you'll find a comment from me.

Much thanks to the KC crew!!

More info on the car or on the yahoo group?

For the car: The jist is the car is rough. Concensus is that is not worth much more than $8000. For more info, check out the yahoo group. There is three threads (one is the biggest) of emails.

To get into the yahoo group, search for it on groups.yahoo.com. The group name is KCBMWCLUB. It is very active and its members are a good bunch of people. The KC BMW Club itself is very active as well, so be sure to come to an event sometime and meet everyone. When you join BMWCCA you are automatically a member of your local club.

Very true. I have yet to actually make it an event yet though. :(
