And he was apparently my age.. sobering. Sorry to hear, I don't believe I had met him. A car wreck is a tough way for a family to lose a loved one.

Austin was a fantastic person. I had the opportunity to meet him a few times at CCA breakfasts and at the Jenks Car Show. He was a cheerful, warm person. We'll all miss him.

Wow. I'm a fairly new CCA member in OKC, but I got to spend some time with Austin and found him to be a great guy. This is a really tough thing for everyone who knew him, and I'll be lifting up some prayers for his family and for all of you who were his friends. Godspeed, man.

Jaye Dee (Austin's girlfriend and dear friend of mine) called me from Chicago Sunday morning. It was such a shock.

It is very difficult to accept the loss of someone so young but it may comfort some to know that his family made his organs available for donation and many lives will be saved through this tragedy.

I will be going to the service on Saturday in Muskogee -- I may want to tag along with you guys. I don't know if were having a MINI caravan or not.

Also, if you can't make it to the service in Muskogee, there will be a get together in his memory at The Old German Restaurant (his favorite) Saturday evening. Not sure of the time.

Yes. He was the passenger. I believe it was a 540, but I'm not up on all the BMW model numbers so I could be wrong.

Tragic, gives you the feeling in the pit of your stomach and the bitter taste in the back of your throat.

RIP Austin.

Austin was really an awesome guy. I only knew him for a short period of time meeting him just earlier this year when i got my car. He always was willing to help or give any advice he had. He will be missed. It really is a reality check when you lose someone that you actually knew. I will try to make the services this saturday if i can get off of work. If I am able to Kyle i will email or call you.

hey all of you OKC mofos, if you cant make it to Muskogee but can make it to the 3:00 celebration of life, a few people are going to meet at my house at about 2:00 and then roll over there. I live off of Sooner and I-240 so if you can make it and it is on the way, feel free to stop by.

I was going to post a link to a map and directions to the First United Methodist Church in Muskogee, but I'm not allowed to post URLs. :confused

But anyway...is anyone from Tulsa going? I'd like to travel along with the group if that's happening. Meet somewhere and head that way by 8:30?

Thanks,
- Angie
