So with the price of mid-grade about to dip under $2.00, I was thinking about a rumor that I heard a few weeks ago.

You know after Katrina, the governor removed the sales tax on gas right? Did he ever tack it back on?

I heard that a big tax is going to be put on gas around december. Anybody know any truth to this?

The tax was put-off. I don't know when they will apply it.

Good to know. The price has been going down about 2 cents a day for the past week or so. How far do you think it will go down? I know this is pretty hard if not impossible to predict, but maybe somebody knows something I dont.

I am so stoked about that. For once gas is cheaper in GA than MD. I'm filling my car with Jerrycans when I come home for xmas.

You are retarded. I think that gas will fall to around 1.60/gal for regs and level around there. With the prices of heating oil going up the company's will give everyone a break at the pump rather than the full-on DP.

Premium Gas in Augusta is down to $1.85 a gal., regular is nearing $1.65...The gas tax was reinstated a while ago.

Ouch.

I paid $2.10 and got excited because I thought it was an awesome deal. And this was in Acworth . . . I give up.

On second thought, I guess it was good timing on my part, seeing as my beloved license is going on hiatus.
