My name is Rob and I'm living in Oklahoma City. I just purchased a 96 dakar yellow m3. I've met a few of you before at scca autox or PCA events in either my black cherry talon or red fc rx7. were you at the meet at lake hefner? I stopped in for a few minutes with my talon and there was a hellrot m3 coupe there.

Yeah, that was me probably. However, there was another there briefly. It had contours, and mine has BBS RCs.

He mentioned you and I've seen you in the results. I've had the Tsi out at Hallett (HST) and was hoping to get to Drumright, but didn't make it. You keeping your Tsi? (Blk Cherry - same here, but I have a coat of purple-perl over it, not the result I was exactly looking for, but it gives it a different look).

Is that an original paint job? Seems pretty bright for that color.. take care of her!

Sweet car Rob! What class are you going to run next year?

i believe its the original paint other than the rear end which was just repainted when i bought it due to an old lady backing into it. The high-res shots look bright/rich because of the camera i think. The car looks more true to life in the shots i took.

Thanks Bob, I'll be running STU i think. Im hoping that Jeff Vogel will still run STU next year and he'll be attending more of our events. I was debating on running BS but after looking at the national results from this year it doesn't seem like the m3 will stand up to the rx8, which REALLY surprised me. I didn't really want to spring for race tires either. Thats basically why im not running SM or BSP either.

I KNEW THAT WAS YOU ROB. i flashed you last sunday when i was entering the base. i seem to recall you getting a little sideways through the stop light! haha that red 3000GT was following behind you. hey you should hit up Applebees thursday night so we can all check out the M. btw where did you take those parking garage pictures?

that was me! I saw you too. Your car is still looking real good. I wish I would have been paying more attention so that I could have heard it too. I haven't had a chance to hear it since you got a lot of work done...or so ive heard.

I'll be at applebees tomorrow night for sure. I took the pictures at a parking garage downtown. I think its somewhere near 10th and shartel but I'm not 100% sure. I was following a group of people.
