It happened an hour ago. On the way to work obeying the law on Sunrise if anyone here from Sac-town, they know the easiest place to get a ticket is on Sunrise. Anyway, I came to stop light and in front of me a Volvo basically a family car Wagon. I would say 940 don't know what year. Help me out with specs on Volvo cause im not a big fan of Volvo. There's about 6 to 8 car on the stop light and light turns green and he starts to lead the crowd. So we all passed around 4 to 5 stop lights after which there's a potential threat came out of nowhere and guess what it is. Honda Civic 89 :eyecrazy .
I'm still driving the speed limit and enjoying the show and Volvo was speanking the Civic badly even though Civic had a big ricer Exhaust. I guess it didn't help. Next stop I somehow lined up with those 2 racers. Since we almost at the end of the Sunrise and I assured myself that it's OK to launch with them since I was confident with the outcome of the race.
I shifted to 1st and light turns green I applied half a force on gas and all I see Volvo leading by half a car. I couldn't believe my eyes. But soon I caught up to him and we were dead even until the next light. Honda was nowhere to be seen, but noise from his loud exhaust was leading the race :D
Next stop light we couldn't line up due to car in front of the Volvo. Light turns green I step on the gas and make room for Volvo to pass a car in front of him. We're rolling at about 25-28 mph and I hunk three times and we're on again. I was walking on him on 2nd gear and 3rd i was 2 car lenght on him. After which I signaled him a good race and turned right since i'm late to work. He starts to follow me. I rolled down the window and said Good race but I'm late for work. He said 1 more time so I hunk three times again and we're rolling at about 32 mph. I'm leading by one car length on 2nd and 3rd he's 2 1/2 cars behind me. After that I shuted it down. GAve him a thumbs up and I'm late to work. Funny part is all those times we lined up Honda lined up also. I guess as long as you have a ricer exhaust you qualify to be in the race.
