I had come to notice that i had recieved a flat last week and promply decided i needed new tires. I had the Yokohama es100's and I replaced them with the Toyo Proxes T1-R's. I was looking for someone to run from a light so I could test them out. I can upon an S500 at a light. I looked over at him and his BEAST of a car and gave him the "race" look. He answerd with a blip of the throtle. At green we go and i have zero wheel spin (I am Happy) He gets the jump on me, but i quickly catchup after my shift to 3rd (weird). I slowly walk on him into 4rth and we shut it down. We both give the thumbs up as he turns off. Good run with a beast of a car. It looked to be about a 2003 or older. I think his autobox must have really hurt him. Arent those supposed to be faster?

Yeah. Those S500s are supposed to be pretty fast, but they are really heavy. I would've thought you'd had him up into 2nd and then he'd start to pull as the speeds approached 100. Nice run though.

i beat a new SL500 with my 328is ... so i sure would hope so you'd beat this .. good kill anyways

sounds reasonable. The S500 have a v8 with some where around 305 Horspower and 330 pound ft. of Torque. They are pretty quick for thier size, but like someone else mentioned, they weigh around 4,500 pounds.
