Hi everybody. On my 1982 BMW 733i my left low beam headlight has gone out. I replaced the bulb and still nothing. Fuses are all good and the other low beam and both high beams work fine.
Can anybody help me out? I just aquired this car a month ago and really like it. I know very little about BMW's so I figured the smart thing to do would be to ask the pro's here at the forum.

What's the voltage at the fuse?

OK, I'm getting 12.5 volts at the fuse.

start to trace: voltage at bulb connector, ground at bulb connector( bulb has to be in place!), voltage at headlight connector, ground..... and so on.
there may be separate fuses for left and right headlights!
check relay contacts

Yes, it has separate fuses and both are showing 12.5 volts. Is there a way I can test the relays?
