Ecko 11-25-2005, 09:32 PM Holy shit thats pretty tight but I do know if I was one of the neighbors I'd unplug that shit for em before I went to sleep. Oh did U notice the middle part says HAPPY HOLIDAYS, cool Mungrin 11-25-2005, 10:10 PM How the F**k did they do that? incredible p38wannabe 11-25-2005, 11:20 PM :eyecrazy :worship: :buttrock :buttrock :buttrock DaveClement 11-26-2005, 02:29 PM I'll bet dollars to donuts that it is someone that does theatrical lighting, especially for rock concerts. It would have taken a huge amount of time to wire up. Each light string has to "home run" back to the lighting controller. Programming would have taken a long time too. Each cue is programmed in advance then synced to the music with SMPTE timecode. Chester 11-28-2005, 02:19 PM Can you say a couple of still pics strung together to go along with the music? DaveClement 11-28-2005, 02:32 PM I highly doubt it. Notice the way that the lights fade on and off like incandescant lights do, especially the way that the light reflects on the house and fence. There are so many different cues with different combinations of individual lights and groups of lights that it would be extremely difficult to photograph every combination. You're right it would be difficult if not impossible with a still camera. However, with a digital cam and video editing software you can capture frames and print them off. A very tedious task but it is possible. sirtiger 11-28-2005, 10:49 PM that was pretty cool... csmith 11-28-2005, 10:51 PM I wouldn't mind doing that one year. But I agree, you would have to be in the business or spend alot of dough and time to get that right. Real or Animated that's pretty damn cool. E30VOLUTION 12-10-2005, 01:37 PM THATS CRAZY! its amazing how they got it syncronized!
