I just completed the ecu/tcu reset on my 93' e32 and the shifts do feel smoother...but..now i cant listen to my radio/cd player because when i turn it on, the lcd display says CODE and i cant seem to do anything else. This seems like it would be easy to fix so any help would be greatly appreciated!:redspot

Anti-theft protection built into the radio. This happens any time that the radio looses power, such as when you disconnect the battery. You will need to provide the serial number of the radio to the dealer with proof of ownership. The dealer will look up the code and give it to you. The dealer may or may not charge you for this service. They may or may not require proof of ownership, especially if you are a known customer.

You will need to remove the radio to get at the serial number. Before you start, check your owner's manual and other papers to see if someone has written down either the radio serial number, or better yet the code.

noooo!!! :(
I'm the third owner of this car and there seems to be no evidence of serial number or code. Sigh..I suppose i have to take out the radio and go to my nearest BMW dealer?
