An acquantince at my school has been going nuts waiting for the XBOX 360, i think he had his system booked like a year in advance.

anyways, he said his xbox crashed with in 16 hours and now it just says hardware failure or something. What a POS.

I heard recently today that some lady that waited in line for an xbox 360 was followed home and threatened (sp) at gun point for her Xbox 360. Oh and the guy was successful :mad

next year at this time is the rumors...
im gonna try to go to atleast 5 or 6 stores and reserve one...

there is a chance that sony realizes what microsoft didnt and they make a TON of the PS3s and there are extras... but they release it too early ussually like hte xbox 360, and then there is HIGH demand in the market which will be good for me :)

Sony is smart to wait. Not only will they be cheaper because of technology, but they should be able to handle more and have better technology as well. Plus, within a year, the DRM garbage will be forgotten. PS3 will easily sweep the market.

Oh yeah. Supply and demand is based from Microsoft themselves. Since they are losing close to 100 dollars a unit, they only provide limited amounts to retail and then secretly sell some through ebay making more than 100% or more profit off of those units. I'm sorry, but why would anyone buy a gaming console that is crashing (and only off of 1 core too) for more than a really nice PC that could easily handle the same or better and have more function as well? If Microsoft was smart, they would provide enough for anyone who wants them, lose alittle money at the beginning, but get people addicted to XBOX-Live and get more money in the long run, and destroy Sony/PS3 in the market share and user base.
