Come on everyone. Time to burn off those extra pounds from all the thanksgiving festivities by driving some twisties:) We are going for a quick "unplanned" drive on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. We will be meeting at the Chick-Fi-la parking lot on HWY 153 at 9:30AM. We will just be enjoying some of the nice MTN roads our city has to offer us. Man if I was in town I'd go, I'm going to be up in K-town. I thought about running the dragon Friday morning, but from where I'll be I'd have to contend with all the traffic trying to get to the outlet malls. (Don't ever go anywhere near the Outlets in Pigeon Forge). Every year the lady folks brave it and what the guys to come join them for lunch. Luckily my uncle knows the back roads, so we can avoid the 5 mile line up of cars.

Im sure the traffic is insane up there on holidays. I never have grown enough courage to take a trip up there around christmas or any other holiday for that matter.

Crazy enough the traffic wasn't bad this year. I did end up with a new to me vehicle, I'm thinking of gutting the e30 and driving the other car every day, and save the e30 for weekends.

No BMW, it's a 91 Mazda 626 4-door 11hp 2.2 liter inline 4 front wheel drive, 207000 miles, peeling clear coat etc..... Was my grandfathers car, but he has been in the hospital for 3 months, and can't have any assets to his name so lucky me got his car. Drove it down from the VA border today, drives good and has AC, handels somewhat decent also(got to enjoy some north TN mountain back roads). I may sell it, but considering the Blue book value is around $800 I'll probally just drive it into the ground.
