If you are running a 19x8.5" front and 19x10" rear, what size tire do you run?
I thought I saw somewhere that it would be a 245/35/19 (f) and a 285/30/19 (r) but I can't remember where I found it.
Anybody know what size tire?

The best way I have found to find the tire size for a rim is to go to TireRack and look at the specs for the tire you want. The recommend rim sizes are listed for every tire. Your guess looks correct.
You can fit 285/30-19 in the rear but you may have problems if you want to lower it much. This is especially true with SO-3's which have a very square tread. If you're getting SO-3, seriously consider 275's. If you're getting AVS, it may work. I'd personally go for the SO-3 in 275 and lower it with some GC coilovers for $999 which should be out later this year when Koni makes some struts/shocks for the E46 M3.

Yeah Kev, with 10" wide wheels, 275's or 285's no problem.
With the 8.5" wide wheel, 245's are perfect.

275/30/19 = $242/tire ... whoa, I feel faint :chix

Imagine what the rear tires for the new Viper cost.... :D
(Just trying to put it in perspective for ya....) ;)

I saw an E46 M running 19x10 HRE's with SO3's in a 285's. They fit perfect.

Was the car lowered? if so, how much. My frineds 285 SO-3's look very cool... but he'll have problems when he gets the coilovers. Another friend has 275 AVS Sports and they barely clear the lip without rolling.
