View Full Version : love living in St louis everytime I go out somebody wants to race
mfree 11-23-2005, 01:54 AM Got into 3 races sunday night on broadway near hall st. Just drivin to get smokes. Had an older jetta come up along side and show his front bumper then he punched it so then i did and destroyed him. then after buying smokes and seeing him drive thru the lot I gave him a nod and he through a thumbs up. On the way back what must have been his buddy pulls up, in a 3000GT SL maybe a VR4 Who knows, thinkin he had somethin for me. he punched it and I clutched it a little to much and started spinninthe tires hard (was in 2nd) I though it was coolthat even stepping out sideways I stayed next to him until I hooked up then started pullin on him up to about 100 where I let off figuring if the cops were runnin people off hall st they would be on broadway soon.
I know this is a long azz post.. sorry
Atfer turning around to hed home a blue STI comes out of the wood work. I though this could be interesting. it was That thing left me like I was driving a school bus. I mean OMFG HS
Today I pulled up behind a cts-v, w8ing to turn right at a light. As I approach he revs it up. Thing sound mean as hell, looks like aftermaket pipes. 1st one I have ever seen so It coulod have been stock.
Light turns green and he turns and punches it. I am right behind him and spin a little too much in first he gets a couple of lengths. I hook up and we run up to the top of 3rd with no change of distance.
I was very impressed withthe sound of the caddy, and the way my little old 3 hung right with him. I had to stop for gas so I never got any closer than thay.
BTW Broadway is abandoned at 10 on a sun night. Industrial area of downtown St louis.
Todays run was turning onto a 3 lane limited access road. so all in all fairly safe street racing
What fun
Now I need another 100 hp! nobody in Cape G ever wanted to run against my 96 M3 stock except foe a filter and B&B pipe.
KarlSpackler 11-23-2005, 02:13 AM why do u want to street race???
and the cts-v.... is a much faster car than yours.... so u better post some mods b4 the furnace is turned on
and try to use better english next time..... that is a horrid read

HarryB 11-23-2005, 02:49 AM STi's are quick and CTS-V's shoot to 60 like an S54 powered E46.
wow that is a horrible read. hed home, w8ting, foe, azz.

because it is fun. I like to go fast and like to see other cars doing the same. My car is ready to give it's all at any given moment, so am I assuming the time and place are both right. i have driven for more than half my life covering over half a million miles with only 2 small 1 car fender benders and a few dozen tickets.
I had trouble getting traction so I am possitive that a v8 would also. It was a good run up to the top of 3rd, a lot of fun. I'll run a big block vette or a F/I M5 if he will do it. I don't care if he walks me, and I am only upset because he left so fast I could not get a better look. My furnace is always on, but like I said,
I need another 100 HP! ....That is another reason why I race, cars with less power and speed can sometimes pull the upset due to lost tracrion or missed shifts or Traction control messing things up. that is why people race, to see who wins.
The STI was no where close to stock It was unreal
Sorry about the the first post, my left hand was rubbing on your girlfriend.
Don't you have something better to complain about? Spend that time emailing your congressman and complain to him about something that matters!:bj

haha my wife said she wouldnt touch your turtle dick
anyway the furnace quote was saying your ass is going to get flammed!!!!
The 05-06 cts-v caddy is powered by the same ls6 that comes in the new c6 corvette... can you "kill" one of those???
5.7L 400 hp and 395 ft/lb or torque,
0-60: 4.8 seconds or less
1/4: 13.2 or less
If you go back and read the motor trend article it states these numbers were achived with very little grip in 1st gear sooooo... even if the person driving the cts-v was spinning his shit HE WOULD STILL STOMP YO ASS so go post up your made up story someplace where people dont know their ass from the ground they walk on troll!!!
cts-v > emo boys > mfree
mfree 11-23-2005, 07:09 PM Hey dumbass I never said I killed the caddy
all i said is I was able to make him get on it so I could hear the 400 hp pushrod v8 scream. Maybe some one with your level of driving skill was driving the caddy and that is why he did not walk me like you think must have happened. another factor you should consider is if I got a jump on him it might even things out a little, no. Maybe you have never raced anyone befor so you are going by some one elses supplied numbers. again its why we race to see if real life pans out like the engineers think it would.

Motor trend is the lamest rag you could have quoted. I stop reading it when they went to publishing 0-55 times because the said legally you can not go any faster in the US. And maybe the there was no traction in 2nd gear or 3rd for that matter. If my little 240 horse I-6 was struggling for grip what do you think 400 hp/tq was doing.
Wake up and pull your head out of your arrogant ass.
as for your snaggle tooth wife......I'd rather beat off

fisherbln 11-23-2005, 08:03 PM Represent the STL :buttrock
Too bad no one will ever race me :(
Most people seem to show little interest in me. However, in my 325i, everyone wanted to race... who knows
kaliimc 11-23-2005, 11:32 PM mfree,
I hope that you are required to take more English and grammer courses before you graduate from High School...
I am in agreement with above posts about your posts being hard to read. If English was your second language I would understand, if not, you have no excuse. You apologized to your readers because your first post was a long azz post.. . If it was easier to read, it would have been much faster and less painful on our eyes and brains.
You spoke of having only a few dozen tickets, it has been my experience that most adults have only a few tickets during their lifetimes. You may want to be careful you don't "mis-represent" STL. You remind me of this girl a long time ago who came up to me saying that she just came back from the Dentist and only had 9 cavities... Be cool man, we're all friends here, if you give us the chance.
EnzoXYZ 11-24-2005, 01:44 AM What do you expect from a dead city? Went down there for a conference Fri-Sat-Sun and i thought i was in a small town. The "city" has NOTHING just the arch. My god was i ever suprised at how small it was.

He's not a newbie.
apollo322 11-24-2005, 02:00 AM And his grammer was much better the second time. God bless him for taking on some bigger cars just to see their taillights. And St Louis may be a small city, but it rocks at night:)

well he sure has some thin skin to be a member since dec 2003. :)

Westmont...... I guese you claim Chicago when you are out of town. If your mail comes to Westmont you do not live in Chicago, and too bad for you. OK so maybe westmont is some hoity toity suburb..then your living over your head and who cares. Come down and we will go to the east side, yes Illinois beacause anything is acceptable there. We will see how dead a town the Lou is. I will admidt that I am out as soon as I find a job out of state but it is not because of the party-ability of the town. In STL it really is "who you know" If you dont know you are excluded. very clickish. favorite question of bar people is "where did you go to high school?" Who cares?
In STL all the money is in the surrounding municipalities. Yes STL is a small city(actual city limits/population) The city was just ranked #3 in the country for most dangerous place to live. Good thing it is mostly uniracial crime. Stay out of north St louis and you are safe as you could be in any down town metro area at 3AM. ATL is much scarier than STL at night...IMO

Hey, come on! I love St. Louis and I would never want to live any place else. Even though it was just ranked as 3rd most dangerous city. Don't knock it because of one kid's story.
