I have a hill near my house where I usually accelerate to about 55 mph, and back off for my turn at the top. The TC was ahead of me and took off at the base of the hill. Caught off guard, I punched it in 3rd, and stopped him from pulling on me. We stayed about even, until I backed off at the top of the hill. I'm not sure how fast I was going when we started. It was somewhere around 35-45 mph, and I didn't let up until 70 mph. At first I thought the TC may have backed off, but he just kept going even after I let up.

Mods: Dual 40 DCOE carbs (big), 292 Shrick cam, "polished and glassbeaded head", and exhaust. I need to tune my igniton timing, so I could probably make a few more HP.

This wasen't exactly a Z06 vs M5 race, but my car held its own considering how old it is. How fast are those things? I think they make about 160 hp, and should be slighly faster than my car.

Nice run! FYI: They claim 160hp/163tq. Some chick in one of those was getting a little frisky around me in traffic today. Unfortunately, we weren't able to book room for me to give her a lesson. :stickoutt

You are correct, they make 160hp, pretty quick little cars. I liked them more when they first came out, now they just look okay to me. For their price, they come loaded with options, which is pretty cool and you are buying Toyota quality.

Regardless, nice run!

I donlt like those cars, I spanked one a couple of weeks ago, at the next light the kid had such a look of disapointment in his eyes. He really thought he was goint to smoke me or somthing.
