If these "electric superchargers" were really the real deal everyone would have one. Yet I have not met one person if my entire life that has one of thiese. That should show something.

With over 500 CFM, this powerful supercharger will create up to 2.1 psi - all at the flick of a switch. And even though powerful, it will not damage your engine with overwhelming pressure - no bent/broken rods, no blow-by, no detonation - it is completely safe for your car's engine. Just flip the cockpit mounted switch at full throttle, and the powerful supercharger capable of running over 8000 rpm will supply your engine with all of the boost it will need.

That's an electric bilge pump. They're designed to pump water out of boats, not air in to motors. The only performace gain you'll get is from your wallet being $128 lighter.

The electric supercharger as described in the link above is certainly a joke.. but the notion of an electric supercharger is definitely a viable one. If you do a search on electric supercharger's for Mazda RX-8, they "almost" had one from the factory -- or atleast on thier show car (as mentioned by Car and Driver's website)

An electric supercharger will not make any steady PSI boost that is worth mentioning. Electric superchargers are a joke. They have no way to very the volume of air depending on engine RPM. Scam.

Yeah, but if you attach a Turbonator or Tornado to that, watch out!

You know I just wish once one of the people who will inevitably wind up buying one of these things would take a small, battery driven propellor device, like one of those little fans which are designed to blow or suck the dust out of a pc case, or soemthing like that.. Then, all theyd need to do is supply the smallest bit of resistance to the flow in order to see how completely helpless the device is in overcoming the resistance.. And then ask themselves how it could Ever work! Unreal...

There are water and air bilge pumps, the air ones blow the air out of the bilge to get rid of any fuel fumes that build up. And they make a hell of a supercharger, gain at least .000001 hp
