Guys, I'm looking into trading my car for an M Coupe, but before I do this I would really like to get behind the wheel of one or at least go for a ride. If anybody can help me out with this I would really appreciate it. It really doesn't matter if its an S52 or S54, but S52 preferably. I'll be home the rest of this week for my break if anybody has some free time. Thanks for any and all help.

Nick

What do 01 M3's sell for these days... 26-30 thousand. A nice stock M coupe will sell for 25,000 with 60-70 k on it. Kevin's M coupe has maybe 10k invested.... sounds like a fair trade to me.

Not exactly, Kevins car does have a large amt of mods, but the first rule of modding is that if you ever sell you will never get all of that money back. The e46 M, especially w/ one like mine as well as with a CPO is still worth at least 30k. Also, kbb on Kevins car is 20k (w/out factoring in price of mods of course ;) ). So I could never do a straight trade, but a trade plus cash I would consider.

Zerrus, still looking for an M coupe? Good luck w/ it all. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help.

I'd love to see an M coupe with 59k for 20k(they dont come often). I'd buy it and i'm broke...... Most M coupe's on the board and on autotrader in the outstanding condition that kevin's is in go for around 24,000-27,000. Seeing his car is worth all of that plus his enormous amounts in mods( mod $ divided in half) is about the same as the avg 01 M3... give or take a few hundred.

Hey Kevin, do you have any issues with overheating on the track during the summer w/ the FDK? What oil temps are you seeing? My kit has been sitting in the garage for 6months now... Prob going to install after Oil cooler kit.

BTW Nick, I'll give you a ride in mine if you are interested. I'm in exit 6 area on GA400.

if your lookin for an M coupe kev's car is the way to go... i've never seen another that can compare in quality and condition as his. price wise i would consider it a fair trade for both of yall because his car is at least worth somewhere around 28k imo

Oh, man I wish I could afford a second car right now. I drove one of these 315hp monsters on a test drive once. Even better the salesman let me take it out on my own cuz he was busy. It was up at Nashville BMW. What an animal! It actually scared me how fast it was. I've owned 2 of the 2.8 Z3s and really miss having a convertible. I went with the coupe M3 E46 because a vert just doesn't fit the M3 IMO and is slower and heavier, but I still love the roadsters. If someone wants a hell of a ride I highly recommend the 315hp M Roadster--you won't be disappointed.

Fun ride though.

Yah, I guess I'm just one of those ppl that really loves the styling of the coupe. But as it turns out I'm prob gonna stick w. my M, but if anybody still wants to let me drive theirs I am more than willing :devillook . Hopefully I can get my dad to put his name on the list for teh Z4M Coupe. We shall see.
