Yes, now I will have to change my name, for soon it will no longer be true.

I am picking it up from Sam on Wednesday.

I am rather happy with the purchase.

Greg

P.S. If anybody knows anyone who wants to buy a '92 Nissan Sentra SE-R for $1500, let me know. I now have one to get rid of.

HAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAAA

that was FAST!!!!! well done man... that of course means that I loose the "fastest 5er in BS" title... oh well!

True, but you do get to retain the "loudest 5er in BS" title.

Greg

P.S. seeing as how you had the only 5er in BS, perhaps your fastest 5er in BS title was quite worthless anyway. It's easy to be the best when you are the only one playing the game...

Hey, ixnay on that logical criticism, Greg. I'm really going for 'fastest Corvair in flock' and 'fastest flat-6 in flock' next year. :)

Though I think I'll get 'most mind-altering headlights' even on an objective measure. :)

I think you should change your name to 'non-turbo Greg'. :D :D

And in honor of this special occasion, I give you....pictures of the car when I owned it. Sniff....I know you've gone to a better place...where you can park inside!

Funny about the non-turbo thing. I used to have two turbos on a car, and now Armen has two turbos (albeit on different cars). And now I bought Armen's old car. The coincidences are a little strange.

This really is the first non-turbo car I have owned other than just beaters (excluding my first car when I was learning to drive, but that could be called a beater too, especially if you take how I drove it into account).

I am also going to pick up the car this aftrenoon instead of tomorrow. That gives me some extra time to fiddle tonight. Then I have to teach Katherine how to drive it. She can sort of drive the Sentra, but she just has no interest in driving it. I think now though I am actually going to have a car she might want to drive occasionally.

if you'd rather she destroyed the clutch on teh E28, you're welcome to it...

otherwise, enjoy, and DEEEEP breaths.... :D:D:D:D:D:D

also, armen, need roffle response on post #7

Erm...roffle. :)

Heck, I taught Noelle on the BMW, it'll be fine. Nothing like stump-pulling torque and a forgiving clutch to make the learning curve shallow.

if only the E28 had the chasis rigidity of the E34... now THAT would be a stump puller!!!!

E28 + chassis rigidity = E34. That's really the only difference...the drivetrains and suspensions are pretty much the same. Ok, there's a couple hundred pounds of extra sound deadening and better leather. :)

Otherwise I hate to break it to you, but the M30B35 has even more torque than the M30B34 (225 vs 214 both at 4000). And with an extra full point of compression, I bet it is higher in the low end, too. Plus lower gears...sorry man, the 'stump pulling' title is not contested. :)

You notice I haven't changed my custom user title, right? :)

Greg, there's only one solution here. You like T25s, the M30 likes turbos. Done and done. :D Has anybody else noticed that my 2 turbo vehicles put together make a little less power then Greg's former turbo vehicle?

a "little less" ????? i don't seem to remember that addition working... there's a good hundred or so missing...

as for stump pulling... I was more talking about the more violent ramp that the E28 has due to the weight etc....

and 600lbs is still 600 lbs.
