My fiance should be receiving her new 330 cic in about 2 or 3 days. Like all women, she is crying and wants my M3 rims...
In order to accomodate her DEMAND, we agreed on spliting the cost of new rims for my 02 M3...
The question at hand is:
Should i get the upgraded 19's
or
should i go for some aftermarket rims?

if ur going to buy new rims.. why not get aftermarket.. something like 19x10s in the rear and really get a nice deep lip since u can. :)

Yea i kinda want aftermarket rims.. i just dont know where to start :(

Also, i kinda thought that the 19s would be alot cheaper than aftermarket ones.. and a better buy??

A great place to start would be to look through the bimmer rides forum and check out the wheels on peoples BMWs. Since most rims u see will be avaliable in the size u want.
As for price.. it REALLY will depend on what rims u want to go with.. a set of 19" ACS Type III 2 piece can run u $5000

AC Schnitzer Type3 19x8.5 up front and 19x10 rear :evil2 ... that's what I'm trying to put on my car (if everything works out) and I can sell my factory 19s for a decent chunk of money...

I would have to agree. The only reason I wouldn't get the upgraded 19" option is because the rims don't have nearly the deep lip of the 18" rims.... And the 18" rims aren't really that deep...
