I was flying into Mccollum today from the south west and flew over what looked like a drag strip, about 10 miles south west of the field. Does anyone know where/what this is? I think it was a quarter mile strip, though it may have been a 1/8 mile strip. who knows?

I think there is or use to be an 1/8th mile strip right around where you are talking about. 1/8th mile for drag + 1/8th mile to slow down = 1/4 mile ? Ive never been too determined to find it since i only like the 1/4 mile. I have heard from numerous people that there is in fact an 1/8th mile strip near there.

Could it have been the Dallas Dragway? It's just inside of the Paulding County line.
