I really need those autocrosses. I can't deal with just SCCA.

Last time I was down there(aug 4th), I talked with the Security guy. He said that the FAA was cracking down on them, because of security issues. I guess some idiot in a Porsche tried to race an airplane down the runway. Sounds like fun to me :devillook but I guess the FAA did not think so. BMW CCA still has one set for the first week of Sept.

I was there on Aug 4th too -- I always try to be as nice as possible to the airport guys, thanking them etc, picking up trash...but yeah that really sucks.

SCCA events have great competition, but tend to be sooooo busy...and national tour events don't come that often.

I can't imagine the problem being with only NASA and not SCCA, GGC-BMWCCA, PCA and everyone else that uses it. Hopefully it's just a break...

Marina's like the last place open for autocrosses. If we can't race there, will there be no more autocrosses (for GGC-BMWCCA)???????
