OC - home of the M3
erikerikerik 11-18-2005, 12:31 PM I'll have to take my girls with me and go M3/Bmmer hunting some day.
"help, I'm going to bekeley I need a car to get around please daddy buy me this M3?":rolleyes
///Dom 11-18-2005, 01:02 PM I live in the area and I personally haven't seen too many M3s. My guess is what you saw are out-of-towners visiting. I did notice more BMWs in general when the Bears played USC this past weekend.
SQ Bimmer 11-18-2005, 02:47 PM My car was vandalized in Berkeley a while ago. Someone straight drop kickedmy mirror off my car. Whatta buncha haters up in that town.
Also, who the HELL would hate on a 318is?!?! That town baffles me to no end.
Jealous Ti owners? :devillook

OR pissed off Stanford fans when they got their arses handed to them last year by Cal! :lol
chr328is 11-19-2005, 02:18 PM san diego isnt too bad. here the parents keep their money in the bank, and dont go tooooo overboard w/ the childrens cars. Though you will get some porsches, and a good amount of bimmers and mercs in the (high) school parking lots. But if you dont like berkley, stay away from orange county and LA (san clemente, Irvine, and just Fkn LA) I feel poor driving around there. At least you have an M3
RRdawho? 11-20-2005, 07:03 AM Eh, I live around berkeley, so you may see my M3 every now and then, but, I honestly prefer to ride my motorcycle around berkeley and keep my bimmer hidden.
There's a couple of us who have m3's here in Cal I usually see about 3 of em besides mine that roam around once in a while, and a couple of kitted 3ers.
And save the spoiled daddy bought it but I got it quotes for stanfurd and USC . I paid for my M3, and I also have to pay for my own insurance policy.
Don't believe me? I'll show you the title and policy sometime. kthxbye :rolleyes
RRdawho? 11-20-2005, 07:08 AM Also, outside of the campus area, you'll find out that berkeley has a pretty damn wealthy residential section near the hills, and in solano, etc. So don't be surprised if you run into a couple of ferraris, etc every now and then. I see them come down bancroft from my window once or twice a week.

I see no need to use e-penis, and I am quite proud of the fact that I an independent of my parents.
Quit being e-gay.
manuelku 11-21-2005, 07:32 PM i would be pretty impressed if someone in college paid off a e46 M... honestly, a e36 m is getting cheaper, everybody can afford one if they really want, the price of a newer civic. insurance is nothing if you are a safe driver, maintaence is a big concern tho.
s0crates82 11-21-2005, 07:35 PM phuq berkeley.

Never said the E36 M was expensive, I got mine at a good price :)
I'm not too concerned about maintainence since I do everything myself.

manuelku 11-22-2005, 12:59 AM i would say bmw parts are more expensive than honda parts.. it doesn't really matter if you DIY or not.. anyway, back to the topic..
I think bayarea has so many M3, even E46 M3 I see at least 10 each day, people are getting richer or just the fact that E46 M Prices are dropping -___-
Jordan94530i 11-22-2005, 01:20 AM Anywhere South of Magic Mountain has too many BMW's to count...
Makes me not like driving down there.
