Hi All,

I have a 2.0l block from a 320i and a K-Jet Head from an 81

I want to get these two together and have a party :cool

Any advise as to what I should do?? Do these two fit up ok?
I want to keep it N/A and i'm not looking for big HP, but enough to make it quick (if you know what i mean) and still using K-jet

I'm prepared to rebuild from scratch (ie new pistons, port/polish head with new valve gear, schrick cam etc.)

I know CJ and a few others like Ken D. have done rebuilds.

Has anyone undergone this combo??

They can work together. infact they can party together and make all sorts of happy. but if you are looking for "big hp" you prob arent gonna find it staying N/A .besides,if you are looking to do all that other stuff,like custom pistons and a cam and stuff. you could do a few more things. then come up with a turbo setup. withall the stuff you would do to make power N/A,putting a turbo on that just opens it up for more potential. and not really any risk.:buttrock

But if im going to do a turbo........I'd just drop and SR20DET in and save the hassel! :)

j/k people will do what they do.yeah. there would be a lot of work to turbo. lotsa money as well.

I'd prefer to stay N/A - As I'm a firm believer in the M10 :D

Just want some tips from someone who has undergone the process.

I also prefer Naturally aspirated....

I think I could build a 200hp N/A m10 that would be quite streetable but it would not be cheap and it would take some custom pieces and effort. ANYONE can slap on a turbo and make respctable power... no challenge-just crank up the boost.
