My driver side door has stopped closing properly any suggestions or expierence?:help

Is the 'corn kernal' still on the latch (door)? Has the striker plate (B piler) come loose? Have you changed door rubbers, anything else new door wise, new seats?? The striker on mine often comes loose, I used some loktite on the screws. Beaner7102.

I replaced the "corn kernal" on my 320i and the door closes much easier.

where can I find a kernel. I assume that that is the plastic part that slips over the metalright?

Yes - they is them!

And it worked a treat on my doors - just push an open door gently with the index finger and it'll close with a nice, new-from-the-factory clunk.

I had problems installing them by just pushing them on though with my fingers - they are a tight fit - I used a pair of multigrips and they squeezed on a treat.:buttrock
