I bought an M5 Steering Wheel, as the last mod that I will make to my 99 528i (I think that I have said that 100 times before). I have been looking around for a used Airbag. Can someone recommend a place to buy/ does anyhow have one for sale?

Depending on which version of the wheel he has (they all appear to be pretty similar), he could very have have the same wheel as what appeared in the M5's.

Btw, these airbags are insanely hard to come by used for a decent price. Almost as easy to just order one from the dealer. I have one of these wheels in my E34, and it's airbagless (for 7 months) because there's simply too much demand for the bags :(

yeah there are two different types of airbags for the m5's the earlier ones which were "bigger" and the later ones which were smaller. And YES your best bet is the stealer. :(

Airbagcenter.com may help. They located one for my M5 and price was reasonable.

I notice you have a 99... Is yours pre 3/99 build or post 3/99 build?

The pre 3/99 builds as well as some 3/99 builds are single stage airbags. Anything after that are dual stage.
