I finally have found a real STW wing for sale in germany, but the owner and I are debating on how to ship it to the U.S. What is the best way to ship from Germany to Cali? And hopefully cheap? :help :help :help

View Full Version : Best way to ship...??? You will need to pay customs/duties and a private trucking Co. like BSP to get it to your door. I bought a Zeemax piece that cost about $280 and by the time it reached my door it cost $607. If it can be sent to a PO Box that is the cheapest but your item is obviously to big for that. TheNeek 11-15-2005, 03:17 PM There are length restrictions on the "bundeposte" there (The post office). I shipped my euro bumpers through their local postal service because they were less than a meter in length. Only cost 85 euros. And only took about a 2 weeks. Bundeposte will be the cheapest. Can always use Fed Ex or UPS. Is the seller in the US military? They can mail things from on base through the USPS which would be ideal. svn2002s 11-16-2005, 08:08 PM Have them check the airlines. Once I had a tranny shipped via Delta for 95 bucks! (Bavaria-Sfo). Second time had spoilers and tranny via panalpina (they are everywhere). It's a pain in the ass, these brokers are trying to get rich in one shipment. |
