My wife bought her on eBay for our twin daughters(now 17).
1965 2002 automatic (but maybe 5-speed some day if dads gets to keep her.)
The body was in very goodshape with some surface rust.
We moved her from L.A. to our home in Seattle - so the potential for rust was a concern. We stripped her as far as we could without removing the motor. We found rust mostly under the window and gutter trim where there is a triple lap of sheet metal.
Thursday I'll bring her home and begin reassembling her. New head lights, all new seals (doors, windows, trunk...), rear tail light lenses, trim, radio. Interior is in reasonable condition as is the motor.
She'll be a daily driver.
