So I have a Pioneer head unit, but I want to get sirius. I was thinking of getting a unit I can pop out and move to the motorcycle. Can you guys show me pictures of where you mounted the unit in your E36's preferably?

Because on a motorcycle, I'd seriously just get the wearable one. SmokeyDP 11-14-2005, 09:32 PM I want to use it for both with the ability to bring it to different vehicles. This one is brand new and seems to be he best bet. It has a headphone jack with a volume control on the side, plus a FM modulator, plus you can hard wire it to some RCA's in the car. The onboard controller would be great, but it would be fixed to the car. I can get it for $60 after rebates with a car and home kit. http://www.sirius.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Sirius/CachedPage&c=ProductAsset&cid=1107450540448 el.duderino 11-14-2005, 09:40 PM OK, well you're asking for input in a public forum, so here's some: FM Modulators suck ass. That's a drawback if anything. The large-size controllers are impossible to make look clean and OEM. I think they all look Playskool. We only use the Starbase at our store to make them as hideable as possible. The big one that can look best in a BMW is probably the Blaupunkt America - at least it's black plastic. And how you'll use this thing on a motorcycle scares me. That's why I'm thinking the wearable is a lot better from a usability standpoint. It just costs more money, but you didn't get a BMW to save money, did you? : ) |
