How do you guys think a pair of Kicker comp 8" woofers would sound in an IB set up in front door panels.......(well kinda IB, more like a big sealed box, but you get the point). Do you think they would have any punch? how do u think they would sound in the 100-250HZ range? muddy? just lookin for any ideas, i know these woofers can be used as IB woofers, and i'm sure their bass extension is fairly low due to the fact they can be IB, but how wil the mid-bass sound is what im really trying to get a grasp of.

I have heard them used in this type of setup in a Tahoe and they sounded excellent. However from what I understand the 2005 Series are much better than the previous generations.

I have a 2004 Kicker Comp 10" that I use as my primary sub in a sealed box and it has been a great unit.

You may also check out the A/D/S/ 8" units they sound amazing to my ears!
