brahtw8 11-14-2005, 02:16 PM I finally had a chance to take a few pictures of my new M3.
I put the snow tires on this morning.

sachin528 11-14-2005, 05:31 PM Sweet ride - So did you trade in the TL? How did you work it, since the TL was a lease?
Oh and is it a 6-spd or SMG? Post more info - options and all - is this the one you were looking at earlier?
Enjoy.:)

I traded in the TL. Trading in a leased car is no different than trading in a financed car. The dealer pays off the finance company based on the trade-in.
It is the same car I was looking at earlier:
2003 M3/6spd
36k miles
Carbon/black
In-service date 8/03
4/50k Maint thru 8/07
6/100k CPO thru 8/09
Xenons
HK Audio
Premium package (roof, full leather, power seats, etc.)
Heated Seats
18" wheels
Titan shadow trim
The V1 and XM2GO are installed (not hardwired yet), with the Ipod Nano coming in the near future.
The snows are Dunlop Wintersport M3s, 225/50/17 w/ASA JH3 17x7.5 wheels. (see the background of pic #4)
Future mods: Borla exhaust, UUC SSK, 19" M3 Competition wheels w/S03s.
slow323Ci 11-14-2005, 06:33 PM Nice car, Ryan. Did you crash the NSX?
brahtw8 11-14-2005, 06:37 PM Nice car, Ryan. Did you crash the NSX?
I did. :(
But it all worked out in the end . . .:D The insurance paid out well, and I am going to make a nice profit on the sale of the damaged car, which I still have at present. (It still runs and drives, but the frame is damaged, so its going to a salvage company that deals with NSXs. Even 'totalled' it is worth $10,000.00)
I'll get another NSX next summer or perhaps 2007, if I can wait that long. Until then, the M3 will probably be my only car. I may pick up a track car or perhaps a winter beater, but I doubt it.
beatniks325 11-14-2005, 07:11 PM hot dude! I thought it was going to be an E36 for some reason while the pics where loading then wowowow E46 M3:eyecrazy
1990m3 11-14-2005, 08:37 PM nice ride, if you want a stealthy winter beater my volvo wagon is available for a cool $5k...:)
Gotta get an E30 S50 for next summer. I won't be offended if you don't want it :)
What color interior in the E46...cinammon? Black? nice car nonetheless, I wish I could have one as a daily driver
RobbertCole 11-15-2005, 03:45 PM the pics are a tiny bit huge but VERY NICE by the way can i have thoes wheels youve just got lying around?
Nimble 11-16-2005, 12:52 PM Very nice M3! I bet you'll miss that TL for nice cruising though, those are nice too. So sorry to hear the loss of your NSX, that was a sweet car.

The interior is black. I love Cinnamon, but they are hard to find and it wasn't a high priority.
608guy 11-18-2005, 01:45 PM Congrats on the new ride! looks great!
BeBeQ 11-19-2005, 08:57 PM nice... but I'm wondering why you only get 18" instead of 19" because your lights are LED so I assume it should get 19" tires hehe I could be wrong.. but it's very nice car nonetheless :)
1990m3 11-20-2005, 12:14 AM 19" wheels are an option. I don't see how the lights have anything to do with the wheels. 18" are standard.

oh yeah you are right haha. my bad... I thought 03 M3 doesn't come with LED lights, because LED lights started on 04 models.
