Hi guys, do you know any websites that sell them? I need a HK midrange for the passenger door in gray (E36) . I would prefer not to buy it from a stealer. Thanks!:help

I am not positive but I dont think those grills are removable, I've seen these speakers on Ebay in Tan.

Hi guys, i am sorry to bring back an old thread, but I am having difficulties removing the grills ihave e36 sedan 1993, can the midrange grills be removed or not, anyone has any pictures around please help i have horrible sound

Yes, they can easily be removed. Take off the door panel, unplug the speaker wire and twist the big plastic ring on the inside of the door panel while holding the grill on the outside of the door panel. Now you have the grill off and the speaker inside it's housing. A little work with a flat-head screwdriver on the release tabs and you can pull the speaker itself right out of the housing.
