Im heading down 441, its a two lane devided highway, and get to a light and just so happens theirs this kid in a riced out civic(fart can, bling rims, loud bass,etc) stopped already. I didnt pay him much attention, but as soon as i stopped, so did his music, and he looked over at me with that so familiar, "Whats up homie" look, at that point i knew it was on:evil2 .... 1st, 2nd to about 6400= 3-4 cl's no point in continuing race, so i slow back down to the speed limit, and the kid is just staying way behind me, so i get to the next light, and this time I notice lights coming up pretty fast behind me and stopping right on my tail, its an SUV so I first thouhgt it might be an undercover officer, and crawl away from the light. When I hit about 40 mph, the car behind pulls around me to pass, I then notice its a young guy in a red Durango V8, giving me that 'OOO so familiar look', hehee, so i down shift into second and give just a lil punch, and hes stayin right with me:alright I shift to third at 6000 and just punch it, right away he floors it and let me tell you... the sound of that 5.2 right next to me at full throttle was intense:eyecrazy , almost intimidating, ha, but coming up quick was another light, and I knew he was in the mood now.... So we both stop, not looking at each other, not really reving much either, but we both knew what was about to go down.. So I turn off ASC, put it in first and bring the rpms up just a tad over 2k, light turns green, and i punch it with nary a fuss off the line. He punches as well with not so clean a launch, hehee, but once he catches traction all i can hear is that motor nipping at my ears again. I shift to second and he pulls even with me,... at this point I was sure hed pull away with the victory, but at the top of 2nd, and then the shift into third the tides turned, and i started to pull ahead slowly at first, but more and more until i was a full half in front of him. At the top of third i cant hear his car at all anymore, and as i look back in the mirror, I had pulled away by about 2 cls and was pulling more, but again figured that was enough.....:redspot Woot!!

Oh and I got killed(more like raped) earlier that same day by another dodge. Had a short run in with an Srt-4 earlier that day, and lets just say it sucks to lose to a neon by 5+ cls:embarrasm :( ..... o well (insert twisties quote)

I had a very similar run with a civic not too long ago....by the top of 2nd it was all over. Way to put that civic and it's driver in it's place. (a speck in your rear view mirror.) I've only raced 3 cars in my 328 but I still can't post a thread in the kill stories for some reason......no url's my butt >(
