ok i gotta set this up a little bit before i tell the story.
so this buddy of mine at work has a... lime green civic del sol. he thinks its really fast and handles better than anyother car so naturally me and the other bimmer guy give him crap for it on a daily basis. i have an 02 wrangler 4L 5 speed. his is a manual too. but any way on to the terrible story
we are both walking out at the same time and i say that we should race on this main street right by where we work. he agrees and we roll out of the parking lot. im in front and i make the right turn onto the road into the left lane and he takes the left. we're both in a second gear 20mph or so roll. he gets the jump on me and i gun it. he shifts to third before im even close to red line and i start to walk on him. there were cars comin up so we didnt go much into third, not that it would have mattered. i ended up with about a 2 CL lead on him.
yeah. funny story. wrangler vs. del sol, clash of the titans right there. buuuuut i still won hehe. :alright and then out of nowhere an E28 M5 comes blasting past me at atleast 110. i tried to catch up but he was long gone.
