HarryPR 11-12-2005, 03:59 PM Wow! What a difference!
Your car keeps getting better and better! Congrats!
vtbimmer 11-12-2005, 06:20 PM Million times better! :buttrock
trucidatio 11-12-2005, 06:25 PM What type of wheels are those?
my2002tii 11-12-2005, 06:34 PM Looks really good now WTA.
I assume that it's not been color sanded yet... still waiting to cure?

mmiller2002 11-12-2005, 07:00 PM Do you like the way it turned out?
Ohtwo 11-12-2005, 07:10 PM Wow, big difference. I wasen't expecting it to look that good. Looks like a totally different car.
Flash it around school as soon as possible. Don't make any enemys though.
Wow, looks fantastic. Personally I would have possibly left the front spoiler and rear bumper black for a little contrast (or something along those lines) but yeah, that looks fantastic! Well done!
That car is effin gorgeous! love the rim & tire combo:buttrock
1979BMW 11-13-2005, 01:18 PM Looks great!
Seem like a lot of people are painting their BMW's (i.e. myself)
But, anyways, it looks absolutely great and I really like the wheels.;)
74tii 11-13-2005, 04:08 PM very very sharp man. All what they said +++
2002forlife 11-13-2005, 04:34 PM very nice what kind of exhaust is on there?
Al Canuck 11-13-2005, 06:31 PM That looks great. A little peely, but nothing a good sand and polish won't take care of. Nicely done.
Al
WTA123 11-13-2005, 08:19 PM For what I paid I am more than happy with the way it came out. Just have to let it cure and Ill color sand it. As to the wheels, they are 15X7 ASA's off of tirerack, and the exhaust system is made up of headers(dont know whose) to a borla center resonater, to a sebring muffler with a single chrome exhaust tip. I posted on the VWvortex, and everyone says to put on more period correct wheels.:D
ridr4lif 11-13-2005, 08:42 PM WOW. Car looks really good. I always wondered what those wheels would look like in real life, since ive only seen them on tire rack. They look awesome!!!
vtbimmer 11-13-2005, 08:43 PM Whoretex'ers are to opinionated anyway. Do what you want. I think they look good.
fjord7302 11-13-2005, 09:56 PM If you install "period" correct wheels, I think you ought to try vt's staggered Alpina's off his e21:buttrock . Just to see what it looks like. Heck, the flares will allow them to fit great.
Cris
WTA123 11-13-2005, 10:03 PM I should do a photoshop...
fjord7302 11-13-2005, 10:21 PM What about a set of BBS RA's like Al Canuck is using in his e21.
Cris
92065CWR 11-13-2005, 10:37 PM how much did the paint job set you back?
mmiller2002 11-13-2005, 11:10 PM With the "modern" touches like deleted trim, painted bumper, and the flares I don't think that vintage wheels are needed.

Exactly.
Those wheels really fit the overall look. IMO
fjord7302 11-14-2005, 12:45 AM The deleted trim and flares are'nt so "modern" on these cars. The 1502's did'nt have the upper or lower trim pieces and the flares are replicas of the Turbo '02. Anyway, as I said in the faq, good job Will.
